3 T or 3/4 C Granulated garlic
3 T or 3/4 C Black pepper
2 T or 1/2 C Cayenne pepper
1 T or 1/4 C Ground cumin

This is the famous Creole seasoning from the Legendary Commander's Palace restaurant in New Orleans and my all time favorite for so many things.

I've listed two quantities for this recipe. The first is a more manageable amount. The second will yield 3 1/2 C and unless you want to make that much and share...use the first set of measurements.

This is great stuff for anything from eggs to ribs!!!

* Avoid using large grained Kosher salt. It will not mix well with the other ingredients. I use a fine grain non-iodized table salt like Morton. It needs to have a strong salt taste and Kosher is a bit mild.
