6 medium potatoes, cooked with jackets on and slice
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1/3 cup bacon fat
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons flour
4 to 5 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
pepper



Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in bacon fat until yellow.
Add flour, sugar, salt and celery seed. Stir in pepper, then slowly add water and vinegar. Cook, stirring
constantly and boil 1 minute.
Pour this over sliced potatoes and bacon.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Garnish with crumbled bacon and chives.
