1 cup shortening

¾ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup brown sugar

2 eggs

Mix thoroughly and then add



1 ½ cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract depending on your tastes
Mix and add

2 cups Quaker Oats

2 cups Semi-sweet chips



Bake at 375 degrees, 10-12 minutes
