3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
First mix dry ingredients together, cut in margarine and shortening. Mix well.

Beat eggs, then add sugar, vanilla and almond extracts. Add this to the above mixture. Better if chilled 1 hour or overnight.

Make into balls size of walnut. Bake on Teflon or very lightly greased cookie sheet. Press down with a glass that has been dipped in sugar.

Bake at 375º for 8 to 12 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen (60) cookies.
