Ingredients:
1 large fryer cut into pieces
2 cups flour
2 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1 stick butter
1 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour, salts and pepper in a large bowl. Rinse and drain chicken. Dredge each piece in flour mixture.
In electric skillet at 375 degrees or metal skillet on medium heat, melt butter with 1 cup vegetable oil.
Once grease is hot, place chicken in skillet. Let brown thoroughly on one side before turning. Use the lid in order to steam the meat and cook through.
Once browned on both sides remove to a baking dish lined with paper towels and put in oven at 275 degrees to keep warm while frying the remainder of chicken.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Try to avoid non-stick skillets, you don't get the same crust on the chicken when using these.
Also, Grammy always told me to try to only turn the chicken one time during the cooking process.
