1/4 c. chopped green onions w/ tops
2 T. margarine
1/2 lb. fresh pea pods or 1 6 oz. pkg. frozen, thawed
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 t. cornstarch
2/3 c. cold water
1 t. instant chicken bouillon granules
2 t. soy sauce
2 T. roasted slivered almonds

Serves: 3-4

Saute onion until tender in margarine. Toss and cook pea pods & mushrooms over high heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Mix cornstarch and cold water. Stir cornstarch mixture, bouillon and soy sauce into pods. Cook and stir until vegetable mixture thickens. Toss with toasted almonds.
