2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. baking cocoa
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 T. light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c. chopped nuts, optional
Powdered sugar for dusting top of brownies
Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. In another bowl combine oil, eggs, corn syrup and vanilla; add to dry ingredients. Fold in nuts if desired. Spread in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-27 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Dust with powdered sugar while warm. Cool and cut into bars. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
