1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 1/2 cup)

Frosting:
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 3/4 to 4 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in bananas. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool. To prepare frosting, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla in a mixing bowl, gradually beat in enough powdered sugar to achieve desire consistency. Frost bars. Store in the refrigerator. Makes 3-4 dozen bars
