Directions:
Mix together:
1/2 c. sugar
4 pkgs dry yeast (do not use instant or quick)
1/2 c warm water 125º

In a seperate bowl mix together:
2 c warm water
1/2 c sugar
1 tbsp salt
2 tablespoons of butter

add first mixture, then add:

2 beaten eggs
7 or 8 c flour

Mix in as much flour as you can with the mixer, then add the rest of the mix by hand. .

Separate dough and put half in one greased bowl with a damped towel over it and the other half in another bowl, greased, etc.

You can let the dough rise until double and punch down and make tea rings or rolls.

May be kept in refrigerator, great top of dough and cover with damp cloth.

You can keep the dough longer by punching it down and then covering it and keeping it in the fridge until you need it. Will keep for a week as long as you punch it down twice a day.
