2 cups sugar, 2 sticks margarine, 4 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 1/2 cups plain flour, 1/2 cup cocoa,1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, miniature marshmallows.

Icing,
1 box 4x sugar 1/3 cup cocoa, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 6 teaspoons milk.

Directions:

cream butter sugar and eggs and then blend in remaining ingredient. pour into a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. bake at 350º. when cake is done immediately cover with marshmallows. do not remove cake from pan. mix icing and pour over marshmallows.

i remember aunt vet making this all the time. she would have to feed the workers helping uncle jimmy and this was an easy recipe. We used to sit on the porch after the rain and she would tell me to listen carefully and we could hear the corn growing in field next to the house..You really could!
