1 loaf "fresh" Italian bread
1 stick butter (softened)
1 8 - 12 oz. pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese
2 lg. tomatoes (round slices)
1 lg. red onion (sliced thin rings)
1 tsp. garlic powder or fresh
1 Bottle Berry Grilling/Dipping Sauce
oregano, salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut loaf of bread down center and then each side into 3 - 6 inch pieces.

Place softened butter into a small bowl; add garlic and mix well. Then with a knife smear butter, covering each piece of bread. Place all bread on broiler pan and broil 3- 5 min. in oven.

Remove from oven, top bread first with tomato slices, next sliced cheese then the onion slices and last sprinkle with oregano, salt & pepper to taste.

Place back in the oven and broil another 5 min. or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven; serve by drizzling the Berry Sauce over each piece or place sauce in a bowl to allow everyone the option .

This is very filling and never a crumb left! Every time we're done eating you're left wondering why you went through all the trouble and cooked all the other dishes. Everyone will say "Why did you cook dinner? Sorry, I'm stuffed!" A Big Hit!!
