2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp.. Vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp.. Salt
1 tsp.. Baking powder
1 tsp.. Baking soda
1 (12 ox) pkg. Chocolate chips
4 (8 oz) Hershey bars, grated (I use the mini Hershey chips - much easier!)
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend oatmeal in blender (measure 2 1/2 c. before blending) to a fine powder. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add to mixture; mix well. Add chips, grated candy and nuts. Roll into balls; place 2 in" apart onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. Do not overbake!!!!
