3 crushed bananas (overly ripe, a little brown)
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
2 cups self rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in order- sugar, eggs, margarine, vanilla, flour, bananas
Spray Pam on pan
Bake at 325º for 1 hour

You can add to this.. my kids don't like nuts. However, they love chocolate chucks in it! Try different things in it. Whenever I sit down with a warm piece of banana bread and butter, I will always remember the precious moments with Aunt Ruby who has always love me and mentored me. She is the best Aunt-in-law a girl could ever have. I have loved her now for over 20 years!
