4 squares semi-sweet Baker's chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1/2 t. salt
3 c. sugar
Large can evaporated milk
Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate, butter and salt together in a double boiler. Add sugar 1/2 c. at a time, stirring after each addition. Add evaporated milk a little at a time and continue stirring until well mixed. Keep on cooking in double boiler until sugar is dissolved. This may take some time.

If not all the recipe used, put in refrigerator and if it crystallizes, just reheat and it is good as new.
