1/1/2 c. powder sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and butter, add egg and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Mix dry ingredients; blend in. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Roll dough to 1/8" thickness. Cut into shapes. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 375º for 7 to 8 minutes. Cool, ice and decorate.
