¼ lb butter or margarine
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups self-rising flour
1 cup broken pecan nuts
4oz plain chocolate chips or plain chocolate
broken into small pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat the oven to 325oF and grease a baking tray.
Cream the butter and sugar to a light consistency in a
missing bowl. Add the egg, vanilla extract, flour, nuts,
and chocolate and continue mixing until well blended.

Spoon the batter in small drops onto the baking tray and
flatten with a fork or the bottom of a glass, then bake for
about 20 minutes until they are light brown in color
30 minutes to make
