1 pkg Devils Food Cake mix
1 pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup oil
2/3 cup water
3 eggs
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Whipped topping, defrosted (optional)
confectioner's sugar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9x13 in. pan well. Preheat oven to 350º. Mix first 6 ingredients in mixing bowl with hand mixer. Add chocolate chips and blend into batter. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350º for about 35 minutes. Check with a fork. It may need another 10 minutes depending on oven. Let cool on rack for several hours. The cake freezes well. Optional - you may use whipped topping as the icing on the cake. Or you can sprinkle confectioner's sugar on the cake as the finishing touch.
