3 T. butter or margarine
2 T. flour
1 c. hot water
1 to 2 T. lemon juice
2 egg yolks
Salt and pepper to taste

To be prepared in a microwave.

In a small glass bowl, melt butter. Stir in flour. Gradually add water and lemon juice. Heat at High 1.5 to 2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Stir once. Quickly add egg yolks, stirring constantly with wire whip. Heat 1.5 to 2 minutes, or until sauce is thickened. Stir and season with salt and pepper.
