1 1/3 cup softened butter
2 eggs- separated
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
Egg Whites
- Jelly or jam
Directions:
Directions:
* Cream butter and sugar
* Add egg yolks and vanilla
* Add flour and mix
* Refrigerate for an hour
* Take out of refrigerator and dough into 1" balls
* Roll the balls in the nuts
* Place on baking sheets and press thumb in middle of the balls and fill with jelly or jam
* Bake 15- 20 minutes at 350º
