Marinade

1 cup soy sauce
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Burgers

4 - 5 1/2 oz ground beef burgers A( boughten or homemade)
8 pineapple slices
8 slices cheddar cheese
4 burger buns ( toasted )
8 tomato slices
lettuce
mayo (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine marinade ingredients with 1 3/4 cups water in a small saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until sauce thickens. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Pour layer of sauce into baking dish - put beef patties on top in a single layer, add more marinade to cover. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. In a seperate container put pineapple slices and remaining sauce, cover and chill. Cook burgers on grill to desired doneness, put pineapple on grill when burgers just about done, and put cheese on burgers to melt. Place burgers in bun with 2 pineapple slices each and rest of condiments. Enjoy!
