4 c. flour
2 eggs
2 potatoes, thinly sliced
1 c. water
1/2 tsp baking powder

In roaster:
Water
2 T lard
1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a roaster or electric frying pan, place 1 1/2 inches water, 2 T lard, 1 1/2 tsp salt. Put roaster on 2 burners on top of stove. Set at medium heat. Take a piece of dough, walnut size, and roll between hands to finger length and place in pan, do this will all the dough to fill roaster. Add thinly sliced potatoes on top and add salt and pepper. Put on lid. DO NOT LIFT lid until the noodles are frying about 15-20 minutes. Lift lid, stir and serve. Serve over homemade beet jelly.

Personal Notes:
Noodles could be fried to bottom of roaster, you'll need a strong spoon or scraper to get them off the bottom. It is ok that they are slightly crisp. These are delicious!
