1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup margarine ( or butter) softened
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 pkg (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup raisens (optional)

Directions:

Mix flour and baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars and pudding mix in large mixer bowl, beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture - then stir in oats and raisens - batter will be stiff. Drop onto ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees F.
