1 lb ground chuck or venison
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes (liquid included)
1 15 oz can red kidney beans drained
1 15 oz can pinto beans drained
1 14 oz can Hunt's tomato sauce
1/2 medium white onion, diced
1 4 oz can diced green chilies (with liquid)
2 T chopped celery
2 T chili powder
1/2 T ground cumin
1 t salt
1/2 t ground black pepper
1/4 t garlic powder
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef over medium heat & break up while cooking. Add a dash of salt & pepper while cooking. Empty the cooked meat into a strainer or colander & rinse well with very hot water to remove excess fat. (not necessary if using venison) Put meat into a dutch oven, add remaining ingredients & mix well. Over medium heat, bring to a simmer. Turn to low & simmer for 50 to 60 minutes stirring occasionally.
