3 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/4 its salt
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 Tab butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bake two pie crusts and set aside to cool. Scald milk. In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, salt. Gradually add scalded milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constatnly, until thickened. Cover and cook 2 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into the slightly beated egg yolks. Then blend into remaining hot mixture. Cook 1 minute longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and blend in butter ( or margarine), and vanilla. Cool to lukewarm. Slice 2 to 3 bananas into each of the pie shells. Turn filling into shells and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Top with whipped cream
