2 sticks butter, room temperature
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
One 9 oz pkg Hershey Kisses, unwrapped
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla and almond extract. Stir in flour and pecans and blend well. Refrigerate dough for 1 hr. Unwrap kisses and preheat oven to 375. To form cookies, press a scant tablespoon of dough around each kiss, covering it completely and shape into a ball. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly, then transfer to a rack to cool completely. Roll the cookies into powered sugar. makes 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
