2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
6 T. cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c self rising flour**
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Blend together sugar, oil, eggs, cocoa and vanilla. Add flour and mix well and stir in nuts. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

**Easy substitution for self rising flour. For 1 cup, measure 1 c. of all purpose flour, remove and discard 2 tsp of flour and add 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt. This will equal 1 c. of self rising flour. For 1/2 cup, measure out 1/2 c. of all purpose flour, remove and discard 1 tsp of flour, add 3/4 tsp baking power and 1/4 tsp salt.
