8 slices white bread, torn into small pieces
1 pkg. light cream cheese, cut into small pieces
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup sliced, toasted almonds
1/2 cup granulated sugar, divided
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup 1/2 and 1/2 cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Maple or Fruit syrup

Grease 8" square glass baking dish; scatter 1/2 of the bread pieces in pan. Arrange raspberries, cream cheese and almonds on top then the remaining bread. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, milk, cream cinnamon and vanilla; pour over bread. Sprinkle the remaining sugar on top. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Bake French toast, covered with foil for 30 mins. Remove foil and bake 30 mins. more or until golden and puffy. Serve with syrup.
