Fresh or Frozen Turkey (defrosted of course)
Butter
Paprika
Onion Powder
Salt and Pepper
Stuffing

Wash Turkey and make sure to get the goodies out of the cavity. Pat dry. If you are stuffing your bird, do the following before the putting in the stuffing. Melt some butter (about 1/4 c.) and add spices. Pour butter mixture over the turkey and be sure to get the whole bird inside and out. Now you can stuff it. Preheat over to 425º and bake bird for 15 min covered. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 20min. per lb. Remove cover the last 15 min or so to make the skin nice and brown.

Mom would saute her giblets and turkey neck and add onions and chicken broth (turkey if you can find it). She would baste the turkey with this broth a couple of times while it was baking and later use this to make her gravy.
