2-1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 C. butter, softened
3/4 C. sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 C. chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (optional). Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.Bake for 8-10 minutes.
