8 - 10 large carrots cut in lengthwise strips
PASTE:
2 T. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
small pinch of salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook & drain carrots and put in casserole.
Mix together remaining ingredients, add just eough water to make a paste. Spread over carrots, cover and bake for 1/2 hour at 325ºF.
