3/4 to 1 cup Sugar
4 Tea Bags or 2 Family Size

Fill small saucepan with about 2 to 2 1/2 cups water. Add sugar and tea bags. Heat over medium to high heat. Bring just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes or so.
Add several cups of cold water to a 2 qt. pitcher. Pour hot tea into pitcher, add some more cold water to pan, to release all the tea from bags, squeeze them out with a wooden spoon. Add this water to pitcher and fill pitcher to 2 qts. Let cool and serve over ice.

Tea can sit out at room temperature for two or three days. If you refrigerate it, it will get cloudy and much sweeter....you will need to add more water!
