1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream or (1/2 cup milk and 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice)
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder

Frosting
1/3 cup butter
3 cups powder sugar
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, shortening, butter, eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Mix well. Add the dry ingredients.

Bake at 375º for 5 minutes. Note if the cookies are thick (1/4") then bake a little longer. Watch carefully.
