White Potatoes
Onions
Corn Starch
Milk
Butter
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Thinly slice potatoes and if you want to speed up the baking time, par-boil them for just a few minutes in hot boiling salted water. "Do Not" overcook, just slightly par boil them. Make cream sauce according to directions on the corn starch box. Sometimes Mom would saute some onions and add that to the cream sauce. You can even add some white cheddar cheese if you want to make it au-gratin. Bake at 350º for 1 hour uncovered in an baking dish rubbed with butter. Sprinkle with a little paprika before baking and you can even put a few pats of butter on top..

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom liked to make these potatoes whenever she made a baked ham.
