1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
4 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time while beating. Add sour cream and vanilla. Then add dry ingredients. Add flour to dough if not stiff enough. Roll out on floured surface. Leave the dough thick as you roll, Cut out shapes and bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes, Cookies will still look white on top and slightly browned on bottom.
