1 box Devil's food cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Topping

1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
small can evaporated milk
1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven. Mix all ingredients (batter will be thick) for cake and bake in a 9 by 13 pan for 30-35 minutes. While cake is still hot, cover with topping.
Topping - In saucepan, warm mixture of sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk over low heat. Bring to low boil for one minute, add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour over cake.
