3 lb. Yukon gold potatoes
2 tsp salt, divided
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup half-and-half
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces. Boil potatoes for 16 to 20 minutes on medium heat (with 1 tsp salt), then drain potatoes. Return potatoes to a dutch oven, cook until water evaporates and potatoes look dry, Mound potatoes on 1 side; add butter, next 3 ingredient's and 1 tsp of salt to opposite side. Cook 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted and the mixture boils. Remove from heat; beat at medium speed with a mixer 30 seconds to 1 minute or to desired degree of smoothness (do not overbeat), serve immediately.
