Notes: My mother's chili had 5 - 6 ingredients tops!! Luella would just be amazed at how many things go in this chili. When I made this chili for the first time I could not believe the wave of flavors that you taste. I make this a lot because it gets better 2 days after you make it. Great for those snow days! You can use more garlic if you cannot find the shoots. I never use all 12 cloves of garlic...I always season according to our family tastes. This chili would be great for a party!
