2 c. water
2 T. instant tea
2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 large can frozen lemonade
2 qt. cold water
1 T. vanilla
1 T. almond extract

Directions:

Mix 2 cups water with instant tea (I make black tea with two or three tea bags instead). Boil 2 cups water with sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes. When cooked, add the other ingredients.

I got this recipe in 2001 from the listserv, and it is absolutely delicious. I had teacher friends over for a back-to-school lunch, and it was a huge hit. I served it iced, but the recipe says to heat and stir before serving. It was wonderful iced.
