8 eggs well beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups milk, scalded,
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter or lard or marg.

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water, Scald milk, add salt and shortening. Beat eggs very well gradually beating in the sugar.
Add slowly to hot milk stirring all the time, when warm add yeast mixture and enough flour to make dough which is not sticky. Do not knead too hard and too much. Cover and let rise in warm place. When light and double in bulk, roll out and brush with melted butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up as for jelly roll, and cut in 1 1/2 inch slices, putting cut side down on well buttered pan. Let rise until light. Bake at 350 from 20 to 25 min. I make them as Butterscotch -Pecan Rools.;;
I bring to just boil : 1/2 cup butter or marg. 1 cup brown sugar, 4 Tbsp. corn syrup and 1 cup pecan halves. Spread in pans, Roll, slice and bake as directed. Immediately turn pan upside down on large rack, Let pan remain a min so butterscotch drizzles over rolls
