1 Box Duncan Hines “Classic” Yellow Cake Mix
1 Box Light Brown Sugar
1-1/2 Cube Butter
1 Can Pineapple Rings (Save juice)
Maraschino Cherries for Decoration

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet (2-1/2 inches deep). Pour light brown sugar and cook until it gets bubbly or to a boiling point. Let cool and set aside for about five minutes. Make cake mix as directed on package. When recipe calls for water, use the juice of the pineapple first, then use water. Arrange pineapple slices on top of brown sugar. Add nuts if desired. Pour cake mix on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. After cake is cooled, swish cherries in pineapple holes.
