4 eggs beaten
2 tsp. dehydrated onion flake
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup whole or at least 2% milk
1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Deep dish pie crust
1 cup chopped ham
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Blend ingredients for batter well. Store overnight in the refrigerator. In a raw pie shell, sprinkle ham on the bottom of the shell, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of ham. Stir the better well before pouring on top….Pour batter on top of the filling. Bake at 350 for an hour....crust will be dark golden brown, quiche will be golden brown, slightly puffed and a little jiggly on top but not wet. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

I like to make variations with this quiche batter recipe. I use spinach and mushroom, broccoli and bacon, sausage and asparagus, zucchini and Gruyere, etc. Whatever sounds good to you. Enjoy!
