9 INCH PASTRY CRUST
1/4 CUP BUTTER
3/4 CUP SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
3/4 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
2 TBS FLOUR
3 EGGS
1/2 CUP KAHLUA
1/2 CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS

1/2 CUP HEAVY CREAM- OPTIONAL
PECAN HALVES- OPTIONAL

Directions:
Directions:
Cool pastry shell. Preheat oven at 400º. Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla and flour. Mix well. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in the Kahlua, corn syrup, evaporated milk and pecans. Mix well and pour into pie crust. Bake for 10 minutes. Then reduce oven temperature to 325º and bake until firm (about 40 minutes). Chill. When ready to serve, garnish with cream and pecan halves if desired.
