4 tsp yeast
1 cup very warm water
2 cups of scalded milk (cooled enough to not cook the eggs or ruin your yeast)
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 eggs beaten
2 tsp salt
7 cups flour approximately

Directions:
Directions:
mix together yeast, water and sugar. Scald milk and let cool. Now mix all ingredients together and add enough flour that your dough is no longer sticky. Let rise in a warm place with a towel covering it until it's doubled in size. About 90 minutes. Shape into your favorite roll shapes (round, crescent, clovers in muffin pan, etc.) Put on a greased pan and let rise for about 30 minutes. Then bake in 350º oven 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden on top. Butter tops when you take them out.
