3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup garlic powder
2 TBS ground black pepper
2 TBS ground ginger
2 TBS ground onion powder
2 TBS ground rosemary leaves

Makes 3 cups of a rub for ribs
Use 1 TBS for each side of slab

You can alter this with smoked paprika or chipolte spices according to your taste.

I'm using it on chicken also and for extra flavor... oil the meat, apply rub and let sit over night
