1 1/3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. baking cocoa
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
ICING:
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. confectioners' sugar
6 T. baking cocoa
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, powder & salt; set aside. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa until smooth. Blend in eggs, sugar and extracts. Stir in flour mixture, chopped cherries & nuts. Pour into greased 9x13" baking pan. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.
ICING: Blend butter, vanilla, sugar, cocoa & milk until smooth, spread over hot brownies. Sprinkle with nuts and cool.
