1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
2 eggs
3/4 c. graham or rye flour
3/4 c. white flour
3 Tbsp. anise seed, rounded

Directions:
Mix day before. Add a piece of summer sausage to each pancake while frying. Makes 3 cups of batter. Use 1/8 cup batter for a small pancake.
