1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 tsp baking powder
4-1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients. Roll out fairly thick on floured surface. Cut with large cookie cutter. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or raisins. Bake at 350ºF for 15-18 minutes.
