Combine in electric fry pan (or med heat on stove):
1 c sugar
1/4 c water
1/2 c clear Karo corn syrup
1 c raw Spanish peanuts
Turn pan to 320 degrees.
Stir and cook to 265 degrees or hard ball stage--approx 7 to 9 minutes. Should be a yellowish-amber color.

Add 1 tsp butter
1 tsp baking soda.
Causes mixture to puff up.
Pour in greased pizza pan and cool.
Break into pieces.
To make a double batch: double all ingredients and cook until 300 degrees.
