1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup sour cream
1-1/2 cups salted whole cashews
BROWNED BUTTER FROSTING
1/2 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
3 TBSP cream
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF.
In large bowl, combine butter and brown sugar; blend well. Add egg and vanilla; blend. Add remaining ingredients, except nuts; blend. Carefully stir in cashews. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool.
For frosting: Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat until lightly browned. Blend with powdered sugar. Stir in cream and vanilla until smooth and of spreading consistency.
Frost cookies.
