4-5 lbs. eye of round
Roasting bag

Marinade:
2/3 cup red wine
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. Worcestshire sauce
1 tsp. liquid smoke
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup ketchup
2 tsp. brown sugar

Put eye of round in roasting bag. Mix the remainder of the ingredients together in a large bowl and pour into the bag. Marinate all day or overnight. Take the meat out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking. Prick the bag a couple of times and put in a large roasting pan. Bake at 300º for 3-4 hours or until done. Open bag and pour marinade back into the roasting pan or desired serving dish. Slice the meat thin and put back into the marinade. Serve on soft hamburger rolls.

Serves 6-8 people - start day before or early morning
